Rockin' with They Might Be Giants

What better way to spend a Saturday evening than indoctrinating the kids about the joy of rock concerts - Kansas City held the first annual Jiggle Jam festival, with a variety of kids bands performing in hour-increments. The two Beyeler families (Nate, Krista, Max, and Elise and Trevor, Mandy, Reed, Emmy, and Abby) got together and attended. Aside from jewelry-making, art, boat-floating, and funnel cakes, there was music, and lots of it! The highlight of the festival for the kids (Nate and Trevor included) was an appearance by the "twin quasars of rock" - They Might Be Giants!
Max and Elise were introduced to They Might Be Giants via their second children's album, "Here Comes the ABC's. The kids were exited to hear a series of songs from ABC's, as well as some of their family friendly mainstream songs (Particle Man, Constantinople). A good time was had by all, as seen below - Elise and Max dancing in front of the stage.
