Max's scout troop places flags on the stones of fallen soldiers in the Leavenworth Cemetery every year. Nate has taken him the last two years, but Nate was busy this time so Elise and I got to participate instead. It was wonderful to see how many people volunteer - this is a very large cemetery but because of the amount of service rendered, we were finished in about 20 minutes! We had a wonderful time.
