Trying out my new camera

My old camera had been on the fritz so I requested one from Santa.  I went back to a Canon and I like almost everything about it!  The flash doesn't pop up by itself for some reason..so that's the only complaint I have. 

It has a ton a fun settings that allows me to take different kinds of pictures - like focus on the color red, or the color blue, etc.  I know that can be done with photoshop, but it's kind of fun (and so far easier for me) to do it with the camera itself.
