Played with friends and cousins
Had family outings (just a few times at Sonic - yum!)
Fist-bumped gorillas and let them covet over our lunches
Met unknown relatives (This Elder Beyeler is Nate's Great-Grandpa Frederick Beyeler's brother, Charles' Great-Grandson, making Nate and Elder Beyeler third cousins - directly, not removed.) Awesome, right?! He said he'd have to take a picture in front of the Beyeler sign on our wall so he could send it home. He was only here a very short time, like 6 weeks, and is now serving in Independence.
Ate lots of great food:
Visited the library (A LOT! Just about every day when we were in town because Max and Elise would finish their 6 books in one day...) This is just some of the craziness that ensued when they weren't reading there:
Had a sensational one-of-a-kind mother/daughter and father/son outing:
We feel so blessed to have been able to have had such a nice summer! These are just the tip of the iceberg to all the blessings we have which make me grateful for my family, my home, my good neighbors, my kind friends, and my air conditioning which keeps me from getting too grumpy in the heat. ;-)
