A Skein of Geese

We are really enjoying living out in the country!  There is so much beauty around, we are constantly reminded of the work and detail that God put into each living thing.

Our landlord and his brother-in-law (who lives two doors down) both have ponds within eye-site of our rental home.  Often, there are a gaggle of geese waddling around those ponds or swimming in them or walking on the ice. 

Today, though, there were hundreds of them!  The brother-in-law had shooed them all off of his pond and they took flight as if in a swarm.  They circled and circled again and again, only landing on our landlord's pond in small portions.  Then the ones still airborne would circle around again; then a few more would land, and again and again until they all had landed on the pond somewhere.  It was really quite amazing!
