A Skein of Yarn
The two wards (or two LDS congregations) in our town are getting together to learn to crochet once a month. So, though I'd love to learn to knit better, I thought I'd give it a go and also get to know more people at the same time!
So far I've successfully finished one winter-type headband. And am learning how to make hot-pads (which we are hopefully turning into a blanket/afghan).
