Easter Suckers

When I was a child my mom would make us suckers for our birthday and bring them to the school to share with our peers. 

We haven't made some for a very long while, so I decided Easter was going to be the holiday to do it (I bought the candy melts in December, thinking we'd do it then...).  So...Easter instead. 

While they were waiting for the suckers to firm up, they made a gigantic jump rope on the deck.  I love it because it was just a rope we were using while camping tied to one of the posts on the deck. They are all so ingenious!
