The kids love all their grandparents and after these visits, Elise said: "We have a lot of grandmas and grandpas, don't we Max?" Then together they named them (with a little help from me): Grandma Reva, Grandma Robyn and Grandpa Larry, Grandpa Alan and Grandma Vickie, Grammy and Grandpa, Grandma Eastman, Grandpa and Grandma Gillis, Grandpa Eastman, whew! We are so blessed to still be able to visit with them and that the kids are able to get to know them and remember them!

Visitors: Grandparents
I love having people over to visit! And the chance to have family and especially grandparents visit makes it really nice!
My mom and her husband, Larry, were able to come the middle of August, but I never got to post anything about it. They were finishing a very long vacation and stopped by on their drive from South Dakota to Arkansas. We had all sorts of fun visiting with them, taking them around Kansas City, taking them to the Steamboat Arabia Museum, eating BBQ and just seeing the kids interact with their grandparents. (for some reason I can't find the picture of the kids with Grandpa Larry, sorry Lars)
My dad and his wife, Vickie, and my own grandmother came just before Labor Day. I guess if you come visit us we might just do the same thing with you...we took them around Kansas City, went to the Steamboat Arabia Museaum, ate BBQ and just had a really good time chatting. Dads though, they get put to work when they come visit: my dad hung three plants for me and put handles on all of our kitchen cabinets. On Sunday my Dad's brother, whom I haven't seen for years, and his wife came to visit; it was a very busy day, but we loved it!
