I hope everyone has a nice, fun Halloween!
Last week we went to the pumpkin patch. We've gone to this one for about 5 years and really like it. It was a little cold, but we had a good time anyway. Since we had lots of pumpkins of our own, we only chose little green ones to take home (just as a change of color). So, other than the price of seeds, the only money spent on pumpkins this year was $.40!
Last Thursday we also drove down to Pittsburg to visit Uncle Jon, who was in the play A Mid-Summer's Night Dream. He played the "arrogant actor" Nick Bottom. Basically, the fairies think he's so pig-headed or an ass (sorry), that they turn his head into a donkey head. The kids thought it was really great and very hilarious to see Uncle Jon with an over-sized donkey-head on top of his body. Elise loved all the fairies and Puck. She got her picture taken with all of them and as you see, liked trying on the head. And apparently, Max was pretty surprised to see Jon's new head.
